What you need to know
Lighter has the cleanest, most transparent points formula in the perp DEX space — the entire system is one line of math: score = volume + max(0, (volume - $2.5B) × 0.25). The weekly pool is 250k points (200k retail + 50k market makers) distributed every Friday. LIT token launched December 22, 2025 and trades around $1.07 with $267M circulating market cap (50% supply locked for team/investors with a 1-year cliff). Season 2 is currently live following the Sep 30 2025 end of Season 1.
